By far the worst time to sell a house in New Paltz is between November and the end of December. Most people are busy with the holidays and not really looking to make a new home purchase. If someone is buying during that time period it’s usually because they have been trying to buy a home for a while and haven’t given up the hunt just yet. I don’t recommend putting your house on the market during the holidays because it can languish which will make people wonder “what’s wrong with it”.
